The 5th triennial congress of the International Society for Cultural-historical Activity Research (ISCAR) will be held in Quebec City from August 28th to September 1st, 2017. The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Fernand Gervais and Dr. Thérèse Laferrière, director of the Centre for Research and Intervention on School Success (CRIRES), Laval University will be the hosts and organizers of the congress to be held at the Quebec City Convention Centre, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the most beautiful cities in Canada. This international congress will be English-only and will attract nearly 700 university researchers in various fields of human development and social practices from more than 70 countries worldwide.
